Run
Photo of our Vicar Rhys during his final family service with us acting out the part of an athlete from the Olympic games. Was impressed with this photo as it shows just how fast the shutter is capturing Rhys in mid air.

School Ball
Was the photographer for one of my friends in the week when her daughter attended the local high school ball. Fell very much like paparazzi down at the Memorial Centre while we waited for her and her friend to turn up. Was also experimenting with my external speedlight flash for the first time too so was quite pleased with how my photos came out.

Have missed a few days so will post two photos today
Eclipse 4 June 2012
Thought that I would miss seeing eclipse yet again as last time we had an eclipse it was cloudy, so I was thrilled when the clouds rolled back and the whole thing was visible. This was also my first attempt at making a collage of photos.
Transit of Venus June 6 2012
Again another case of, will this be visible as weather forecast was shocking. Had a dentist appointment and when I was wandering around town still the sun came out for a few minutes. Thankfully I had taken my camera with me in case something like this happened.

Forgot to add last night that I have a new toy, a Canon EOS 60D. Am loving my new camera and am having all kinds of fun with it.
